Stand-Up MRI of Islandia was established in 1993 and has proudly served the area since. We participate with all major insurance providers.

Stand-Up MRI of Islandia is equipped with two MRIs — The STAND-UP® MRI and a 3T Siemens MAGNETOM® Verio. The unique physical configuration of the STAND-UP® MRI (a product of FONAR Corporation) makes it the world´s most Patient-Friendly™ MRI and also the only MRI that can scan patients in any position, allowing it to detect certain problems that would be underestimated or completely missed by any other type of MRI.
Together, the STAND-UP® MRI and the 3T MRI provide patients and their physicians with the “Best of Both MRI Worlds.”
